It’s so much fun!

(5)·By Tilly M·Film· Jun 2026
Everyone there is so nice and helpful, and there are so many opportunities for different courses. I love the range of modules for my course, as it helps me get into the industry and gain other qualifications.

The social scene is great; they have an LCR where they host different themed nights like ABBA night, and they genuinely care about the safety of people on campus. I’ve found that the security team is attentive and skilled at their job. The film course is really interesting, and I get to learn from many people who have worked in the industry. I really love UEA.

I’m currently studying at UEA. The outdoor areas of the campus are really pretty. There are lots of good on-site cafes, and the LCR hosts many great events.

Why studying locally is not as boring as it seems

(5)·By Halaa T·Politics· Jun 2026
I had always wanted to study in London. Diversity was a priority for me. However, I chose to stay local because it was a more cost-effective approach. During my first month, I noticed how diverse the students were—many of them were from London.

University is like a cherished friend, always there to challenge, inspire, and uplift me. Its halls buzz with the energy of curiosity and ambition, drawing me into a world of endless possibilities. The professors are like guiding lights, sharing their wisdom and igniting my passion for learning. Each lecture is a journey of discovery, expanding my horizons and shaping my perspective on the world. The campus itself is a vibrant community, where friendships are forged and memories are made. From late-night study sessions to spirited debates in the classroom, every moment at university is an opportunity for growth and personal development. It's a place where I can explore my interests, pursue my dreams, and become the best version of myself. University fills me with a sense of purpose and belonging, reminding me that with dedication and determination, anything is possible.

My experience at UEA :)

(5)·By Lydia S·Pharmacology / Pharmacy· Jun 2024
First year, I lived in an ensuite room on campus and met my best friend on the first day who lived right next door to me. I made amazing memories that I'll cherish forever and met so many lovely people. I've really enjoyed my course so far, and my lecturers' passion and enthusiasm really help. It was also cool to join societies, such as ballet, as it gave me the opportunity to practice something I loved outside of my studies. The campus at UEA is beautiful and relaxing to walk around, helping clear my mind when I have exams and deadlines.
