(5)·By Manpreet S·Business· Jun 2026 Student life here has been a really mixed but overall positive experience. My course is engaging and well-structured, with lecturers who are generally supportive and clearly knowledgeable, although sometimes feedback can be a bit slow or unclear. The workload can feel intense at times, especially around deadlines, but it pushes you to stay organised and develop good time management skills. The commute is manageable depending on where you live—public transport links are fairly reliable, though it can get crowded during peak hours, which makes early starts a bit tiring. Accommodation varies quite a lot; some places are modern and well-maintained, while others could benefit from better upkeep and more responsive management. Socially, there’s a lot to get involved in, from societies to nights out, so it’s easy to meet people if you put yourself out there. The atmosphere is generally friendly and inclusive, though it can sometimes feel a bit quiet during weekdays. Overall, it’s a great place to grow academically and personally, but improvements in accommodation quality and more consistent academic support would make the experience even better.
