Great Uni
Top University in the UK
The campus itself is modern, with great facilities, especially the Town House, which became one of my favorite places to study. Kingston as a town is a great place to live—big enough to have everything you need but not as overwhelming as central London. The riverside, local cafes, and markets made it a nice place to unwind.
One of the best parts of my time there was meeting people from so many different backgrounds. The student community is diverse, and there were always events or societies to get involved in. That said, the social scene wasn’t as lively as some other London universities, but if you make the effort, you can still have a great time.
Academically, I found some modules really engaging, while others felt a bit disorganized. Support from lecturers was hit or miss—it depended a lot on the course and department. Some of my friends had fantastic tutors who were always available, while others struggled to get responses to emails.
Overall, I’d say Kingston was a great experience for me. It prepared me well for my career, and I made some amazing memories. It’s not a perfect university, but if you’re proactive, take advantage of the opportunities, and get involved, you’ll get a lot out of it.
Kingston University
A Phenomenal Experience
Dedicated professors
I like to share my awesome experience while studying at Kingston University. I have never seen professionals in my field as passionate as those eager to teach animation topics and interested in guiding every student toward a full-time job. Usually, nobody focuses on providing job opportunities for international students, but here proper guidance has been given to all students.

Good opportunities!
I pursued my MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology and found the placement team for my course to be excellent. Almost everyone secured a placement, and I was also able to find a part-time job. Initially, I was worried about job opportunities, but there are plenty—especially with Central London so close. While you can’t expect to land a part-time job immediately, within a month or two you’ll likely find something. For me, it took around two months, and it was a great experience that helped me a lot.
Academically, the professors are highly professional and take a very practical approach to teaching, which is essential for gaining real-world skills. The course structure was well-designed and truly beneficial.
Beyond academics, the social life is great! There are plenty of students around, and there’s a club nearby where people often go to unwind. There are also lots of pubs in the area. However, the surroundings do get quieter after 5:30 PM, especially since my accommodation was in more of a residential area. The only slight inconvenience was that the nearest bus stop was about a 10-15 minute walk away—but on the bright side, I got used to walking a lot!
Overall, my experience at Kingston was fantastic. If you’re considering studying here, I’d definitely recommend it!
