Life at King's

(4)·By Esme J·Politics· Jun 2025
Student life at King’s is good. Definitely you need to put yourself out there and not be afraid of new experiences, but when you do, you can have such an amazing time; the people I’ve met here are so much fun. Extracurricular activities at King’s are vast, with over 200 societies, making it easy to find one that suits me and helps me make lots of friends. They constantly keep you in the loop with research or job opportunities to enhance your time here. Uni accommodation is good and has amazing facilities to make it as sociable as possible.

My experience

(4)·By Suha M·Midwifery· Jun 2024
I have found this course to be very challenging because I have to balance my academic workload with placement. My experience on placement has also been difficult, but there are times where I find it very rewarding and it makes me forget about some of the struggles I have faced in the course.

Worth coming to

(4)·By Naomi W·Medicine· Jun 2025
If you are looking to study medicine at a London uni and have met people who go to QMUL, Imperial, and UCL, KCL is the most balanced. It’s the most central with a lovely campus that isn’t too big, the people are friendly and aren’t stuck up, the course is well taught, and I feel like the staff really do care about the students despite it being a big course.

Respectful and Understanding Staff

(4)·By Sukanta C·Mathematics· Jun 2025
The staff at KCL are truly wonderful. From the IT technicians to the professors, they all care about each and every student. Each student is assigned a personal tutor, which is amazing as it gives students the chance to share any opinions or emotions. Additionally, it acts as a much quicker way to receive help or guidance on your course rather than waiting for your lecturer's office hours.

KCL Review

Since it is London, there are great opportunities for large events, fun activities, etc. It may not have a dedicated campus, but it is still a great one conveniently located near London Bridge with excellent access to food options and transportation.
