This course will give you the skills and confidence you need for a particular profession, or academic subject or job.<br/><br/>Once youve completed the course, youll be awarded a CertHE - a standalone qualification, which can be used to enhance your career or as a stepping stone towards studying an undergraduate degree with us.<br/><br/>Youll be taught through a series of modules via lectures, seminars, and workshops by our passionate and committed academic staff. <br/><br/>Youll gain the confidence and academic experience you need to prepare you for studying your undergraduate degree.<br/><br/><strong>Skills</strong><br/><br/>You gain a basic understanding of using English for academic purposes and a thorough grounding in academic study skills, such as essay structure, exam technique, referencing, journal and library research.<br/><br/>Youll be introduced to the key skills and areas of digital literacy and how to solve problems via program development.
