It prepares students for careers in mental health, counselling, and further postgraduate study in clinical psychology.<br/><br/>As part of the course, you’ll take part in two integrated placements in Year 2 and Year 3, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in psychology-related or clinical settings. There’s also the option to undertake a year-long placement between Years 2 and 3, giving you the chance to build deeper professional experience and develop key employability skills. With a strong focus on clinical applications, this course prepares you for a wide range of careers in mental health, education and research, or for further training in areas such as clinical or counselling psychology.<br/><br/>Throughout the course, you’ll be taught using a combination of lectures, seminars, practical workshops and independent study.
