The programme also introduces students to important theoretical developments in the discipline, enabling them to appreciate advances in economic thought and their application to contemporary economic challenges in both national and global contexts.
Our Minor in French allows you to become proficient by the time you graduate through consistent and immersive language study. Throughout the programme, you will strengthen your abilities in speaking, listening, reading and writing while gaining confidence in using French in a range of contexts. Studying French also provides access to influential literary, cinematic and intellectual traditions, as well as key social, cultural and historical discussions within the Francophone world. An optional Year Abroad in a French-speaking country offers the opportunity to deepen linguistic fluency and intercultural awareness while gaining valuable international experience that can support future career opportunities.
Combined Degrees\
Most Combined Degrees allow you to adapt the weighting of each by 25% after the first year, helping you to keep your options open. Please note, however, students studying either a Business or Economics pathway in combination with another subject cannot increase from 25% to 50% or from 50% to 75% and it is not possible to transfer from a 50% to 75% Law. GCSE Mathematics at grade 5/C and GCSE English at grade 4/C required. Applicants with equivalent qualifications and applicants who do not meet the GCSE English requirements will be considered on an individual basis according to their circumstances.

Extended Project
Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and 3 A levels and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be AAB including A in Mathematics or ABB including A in Mathematics plus A in the EPQ.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
34 points overall with no score less than 4 and including 6 in HL Mathematics or pass the IB Diploma plus 6,6,5 in 3 HL subjects including 6 in HL Mathematics.
