We prepare you to apply for registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Our degree will help you achieve the outcomes identified in the NMC Standards for Pre-registration Nurse Education (2019).
All nursing students on courses from September 2020 will benefit from guaranteed, additional support of at least £5,000 a year, which they will not need to pay back. See more information.
What you should know about this course:
* Nursing and Midwifery - joint 2nd in London for student satisfaction (Complete University Guide League Tables 2025)
* General Nursing - 2nd in London for satisfied with teaching (Guardian League Tables 2025)
* Nursing students may benefit from additional support of at least £5,000 a year to help with living costs.
* You will be placed in a NHS trust for the three-year course, although you will have the opportunity to change your placement area for part of Year 3.
* You will be able to practice and develop your skills and knowledge in our brand-new simulation suite.

GCSE/National 4/National 5
GCSE Mathematics at grade 4/C and GCSE English Language at grade 4/C. Equivalent qualifications may be considered. A UK Degree can be accepted in lieu of Level 2 English for Nursing & Midwifery Programmes.
