Foundation Degree in Scenic Construction FdA

The Foundation Degree in Scenic Construction is a two-year programmer. The programme has been developed in response to the acute shortage of suitably qualified entry-level technicians to build sets for the rapidly expanding Theatre, Film and Television industries in Wales and beyond.<br/><br/>Key Features:<br/><br/><br/>• Technical Skills - including both metal fabrication and carpentry.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Industry Practice - develop an insight into the theatre & television industry<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Professional Placements across the two years, either at RWCMD’s workshop & theatres or with industry partners<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Industry Partners and supporters include- Bay Productions, Cardiff Theatrical Services, Bad Wolf (4Wood) & Wild Creations<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Top up Degree - the option to top up to BA (Hons) Design for Performance. <br/><br/>
