**About this Course:**<br/><br/>Esports is a global phenomenon, growing into an industry that generates billions every year. The esports industry boom is reflected with thousands of new job opportunities appearing every year within esports in the UK and even more globally.<br/><br/>The HNC in Esport will help prepare students for the world of esports as a fast growing, competitive industry both in play and in business. At Dearne Valley College, students will be able to use our cutting-edge facilities to explore the world of esports tackling the ecosystem, the dynamics of sponsorship deals and building global brands, understanding the logistics of tournament operations, developing knowledge of the factors that go into Esport game development, exploring the skills and demands of esports athletes and the necessity of coaches and learning vital business skills for running and planning enterprises and events.<br/><br/>Esport casts a broad net and offers a wide range of highly valuable, job ready skills that this course will prepare you for. With future career prospects including social media strategist, marketing executive, production manager, coach, accounting, video production, broadcasting, journalist and human resources.
