You’ll work on real projects throughout the course, including industry‑led challenges that help you think and problem‑solve like a professional engineer. This project‑based approach builds technical confidence while developing teamwork, creativity and communication skills valued by employers.
You’ll explore areas such as electrical systems, digital and embedded technologies, control and instrumentation, and engineering product development. With access to specialist labs and research‑linked activities, you’ll gain hands‑on experience that prepares you for roles across sectors like aerospace, energy, transport and telecommunications.
You can complete the degree in three years or add a paid placement year to build even more industry experience. This course is also available with a foundation year if you want extra preparation before starting the full degree.
