Its subject matter includes Britain and mainland Europe, but extends further afield to North America, the British Empire, Soviet Russia, South Asia, Australia and China. It begins with broad survey courses, proceeds with the history of individual countries or themes and culminates in specialist case studies. You can also choose to study a foreign language as part of our History degree.
