Introduction to Health Sciences CertHE

This one-year full-time programme provides an introduction to clinical and professional healthcare, and offers an alternative entry route onto the following health-related BSc (Hons) courses within our School of Health and Medical Sciences:<br/><br/><br/>- BSc Adult Nursing<br/><br/><br/>- BSc Childrens Nursing<br/><br/><br/>- BSc Mental Health Nursing<br/><br/><br/>- BMid Midwifery<br/><br/><br/>- BSc Speech and Language Therapy<br/><br/><br/>You will develop a range of key transferable skills needed to work effectively within the current and future health and social care environment.<br/><br/>In addition, the programme will provide a supportive environment, which fosters academic and personal development and uses appropriate learning resources. The programme will enhance the development of your interpersonal skills and uses a variety of appropriate teaching and learning methods, to provide education and training that is relevant, intellectually challenging and enjoyable.
