You also have the option to transfer to the BSc Psychology with Clinical and Health Psychology, BSc Psychology with Neuropsychology or BSc Psychology with Forensic Psychology.

As well as a broad introduction to scientific subjects such as biology, maths, computer science, and IT and communications skills, you’ll get a taste of studying psychology at a higher level. Under the supervision of one of our academics, you’ll plan and conduct research on a relevant topic in psychology – developing the same research skills you’ll need to complete your undergraduate dissertation or research project.

Successful completion of any of our BPS-accredited Psychology degrees confers eligibility for Graduate Membership of the BPS and the Graduate Basis for Registration, setting you on the path to becoming a Chartered Psychologist in any of the main psychological professions (clinical, educational, counselling, health, developmental, cognitive neuroscience, applied behaviour analysis).

‘Placement Year’ and International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time. You can find more information about these options on our website and if you have any questions, please get in touch.
